Amazing Survival
This is the first draft. I would love it if you would give
me comments. And this is the first part of the story too.
“Tomorrow
we are going to visit Aunt Marsha and Uncle Craig in Arizona. You need to pack your bags,” Mom said at breakfast
this morning.
We started our trip early the next morning, after loading
all the bags in the Sedona.
“Mom, I have a feeling that it is hard for me to breath,” 5 –
year old Charlie.
“Charlie I think you are just a little car sick. You will be
fine,” Mom said. When mom says your fine, you usually are, but not in this
case. Mom started talking about how we are going to be very calm at Aunt Marsha’s
and Uncle Craig’s house, when Charlie started gasping for breath.
“Charlie, are you ok? Charlie Gledhill seriously tell me
what is wrong,” I asked in a panic voice. As the oldest I panic when my younger
siblings are sick. The only word Charlie
could make out was hospital, while grasping his stomach. My dad immediately swerved
to the right, and parked, and looked on the map to where the nearest hospital
was. I got in the back with Charlie and was I was saying the most soothing
words I could say.
