The starter of my book

Chapter 1

Katie and I stood staring at the crimson stain on the wall of the closet.

Katie whispered to me “Is that blood or red paint?”
I whispered back “I don’t know, you better be quiet or we will be found.” The door was jammed and we both stood squished against the moldy walls, across from the red stain.  We heard someone pacing back and forth outside the door, muttering something under it’s breath. The squeaks of the floorboards rang in our ears. Both of our hearts were fluttering within our chest. More than twenty things raced through our minds. Some of which we would never know, and nobody could answer.

I glanced over at Katie, a  tear ran down her  pale cheek. The room got freezing, we both had goose-bumps. All of a sudden, the muttering got louder and louder. At the point where we could tell it was a boy and hear what it was saying  clearly.  He was saying something about him getting fired from the emergency clinic. The words leaving his mouth was foolish and inappropriate. Katie and I plugged our ears and stood closer against the wall.
It was getting late, and getting cold. We were both thinking of different things, when he yanked on the closet door. Kaite put her hands up, as if he had a gun and all I did was close my eyes. He soon gave up. Kaite and I whispered a plan of escape.

Another little story!

I walked into the house, the fragrance smell of pie entered into out nostrils.
“Mom, why did you make pie,” Coleen said gazing off at the pie.
“Well, first of all I knew you absolutely love pie and did you not know Uncle Jim and Aunt Ruth are coming for dinner?”
“No, what time are they coming?”
“I can’t remember if it is 6:00 or 6:30! So they will be here in an hour and a half. Clean up your room, and feed the dog. And if you clean the bathrooms, you can get an extra piece of pie!”
“First of all mom I do not want to feed the dog, you know he is just going to bite me and think my shoe is a toy.  Second, of all are Uncle Jim and Aunt Ruth bringing anything?”
“You will see! No actually they are coming with a dog trainer to train Barren. And after dinner, the dog trainer is thinking about taking to the beach, he will work with Barren and we will play in the sand, and swim if you want to freeze you veins.”  Mom said.
Uncle Jim and Aunt Ruth rang the door bell and I ran over to the door and jumped on Uncle Jim.
“Little high little low,” I yelled.
“Little hey little ho,” Uncle Jim and Aunt Ruth said. The dog trainer grabbed his supplies which included pills.
“Hey what are you doing with those pills,” I asked.
“Oh, you really want to know!”
“Are you going to put my dog to sleep with those?” I exclaimed getting teary eyed.
“Oh, no sweetie I have a disease  and I have to take these or I will swell up and get hives,” he said.
“Ok! Is it contagious?”
“Nope,” he answered with a chuckle. After dinner, and the dog trainer was working on Barren I talked with Uncle Jim and Aunt Ruth.
We went to the beach, I didn’t want to freeze my veins so I just played in the sand.

        Another story!

There was this reporter who would leave her job to go to random places to ask very odd questions. They were not odd questions for here, they were more for the people who lived there.  This lady was 34 and her name was Shea.
Once she went to China, and she asked” who eats bugs here?” Everyone looked at her and laughed. Because in their language, it said, “Who eats garbage here?” Then she went to the grocery store and asked one of the employees where the peanut butter is. The employee walked her over to the cribs. When she finally went on to her computer and saw what she was saying she realized now.  So she took her computer, got the translation and went to a different store. Ztee dofermo cwantala ponut fermho. Then she was taken to the peanut butter.
Hope you liked it!

This is a funny thing I made. Adventure City is a water park in Zambia it is very un-safe.
If you give a mousse to a moose
If you give mousse to a moose he will probably ask you for lemon juice. When you give him lemon juice he remembers that his favorite drink is lemonade. When he thinks of lemonade he thinks of summer. When he thinks of summer he thinks of going to the park. When you go to the park he goes down the slide. He remembers the water slides at Adventure City. When you take him to Adventure City he gets bonked in the head by a guy trying to do a hand stand. When we get to the hospital and you give mousse to a moose. He will probably ask for lemon juice.

Last part of Amazing Survival

Charlie opened his eyes.
“Dad, I am ok! You can get me out of her now,” Charlie said.
“Hun, you have to stay in her till you are better. That will be soon, ok”  Dad said wanting to get out of there too.
“Ok! Can you tell me a story of a dragon and knight. Or you can go,” Charlie said.
“I will never leave you. You are my little boy.” Dad said kissing his son on his head. Jessie and I came into hospital room.
“Jess, are you feeling like this too,” Charlie said.
“Not really,” Jessie said.

A week later
Charlie was able to get out of his bed and he could walk. He was in his wheelchair, going out of the hospital. When, they realized that he had grown and could not go in his car seat, and they don’t have a handicapped car. So the, hospital ambulance drove Charlie and Mom to Uncle Craig’s and Aunt Marsha’s house. When, in the ambulance Charlie started talking about heaven. Mom’s mouth dropped, and started sweating, she was so surprised. Charlie is talking about how he did homework in heaven, and Jesus was his teacher, and what Jesus was wearing. Mom texted Dad and told him what was happening. Then, he wouldn’t talk about it again.

Part 2 of Amazing Survival

When we got to the hospital, Mom grabbed Charlie and rushed him into the hospital. Then, all the hospital attendants rushed him into surgery.  Charlie was so scared, and was screaming. But actually while he was screaming he was up in heaven sitting on Jesus’ lap. Dad could not stand the sound of his screaming; he ran down the hall and locked himself in the bathroom. He was praying hard, and thinking how many good times he had with Charlie. Tears streamed down his face, harder and harder each minute.  Mom was sitting in the hall, and crying, all of a sudden Mom thought about Jessie and I in the car. She ran out to us in the car, and we were praying for our cute little Charlie. Mom called Uncle Craig and Aunt Marsha to come pick us up. Then, mom ran back in the hospital; when the surgeon came out and told her that his lungs collapsed, and that he would probably make it. Dad came out of the bathroom, and went into the hospital room. He saw his son, sicker than he had ever seen him.

                   Amazing Survival

This is the first draft. I would love it if you would give me comments. And this is the first part of the story too.

“Tomorrow we are going to visit Aunt Marsha and Uncle Craig in Arizona.  You need to pack your bags,” Mom said at breakfast this morning.

We started our trip early the next morning, after loading all the bags in the Sedona.
“Mom, I have a feeling that it is hard for me to breath,” 5 – year old Charlie.
“Charlie I think you are just a little car sick. You will be fine,” Mom said. When mom says your fine, you usually are, but not in this case. Mom started talking about how we are going to be very calm at Aunt Marsha’s and Uncle Craig’s house, when Charlie started gasping for breath.
“Charlie, are you ok? Charlie Gledhill seriously tell me what is wrong,” I asked in a panic voice. As the oldest I panic when my younger siblings are sick.  The only word Charlie could make out was hospital, while grasping his stomach. My dad immediately swerved to the right, and parked, and looked on the map to where the nearest hospital was. I got in the back with Charlie and was I was saying the most soothing words I could say.

This is one of my writing prompts for school! Enjoy!!

“Today I will go out in the woods and find a big foot,” Charlie said after watching “Finding Big Foot.”  I was sitting on the couch watching “Jessie.” When I heard a beeping sound outside the window, I thought for a second and called my friend Jane.
“ It is detective time! I hear beeping outside the window, and Charlie is inside. Mom and dad are not home! Come over ASAP!” I say, ready for an adventure.
“Which window is the beeping at, so I can avoid it,” Jane said.
“The beeping is at window 5tt5t,”
“ok.” Jane got over 5 minutes after I hung up, we went up to tell Charlie where we were going. We opened the door of his room and he was not there, and I am positive he did not go outside. We looked at each other puzzled and did our “I am not scared hand shake.” I got my bullet proof armor on, and we snuck out the back door. We came to where window 5tt5t was and looked at what was there……….. I pulled out my butcher knife, and saw that all it was, was Charlie playing with his Big Foot finder. Jane and I started laughing at the same time!
“What is so funny? I just went  out the back door!” Charlie said turning off his Big Foot finder. I went back inside, Charlie stayed outside, and Jane went home. That was way more fun than watching Jessie being a nanny to 4 kids.
